Description
Title "Four Corners of the Earth"
My Artist friend, Marlan Yoder, gets credit for this piece. When he first moved to the Atlanta area I went down and visited him. He showed me a pastel that he was working on to try and loosen up his style. The drawing was an outline of a flat square earth and he told me what he envisioned for the rest of the drawing. I added to his idea and put the ladder on top and the people down below. A lot of times I feel like the figure sitting alone on top of a square world... maybe alone and not quite fitting... maybe being square and not fitting in a round world. I struggled with the title for this piece.
